If you're looking for a thrill, wakeboarding and wakesurfing are just what you're looking for!
Derived from snowboarding, wakeboarding involves standing on a board and being towed across the water by a cable attached to a boat. Your feet are attached to the board by socks.
Wakesurfing, on the other hand, combines wakeboarding and surfing. Always towed, you stand on a board similar to that used for surfing. And, unlike wakeboarding, your feet are not strapped in, and the boat's speed is slower.
The boards are wide enough to keep you stable and safe. There's plenty of room for improvement. In fact, you'll be able to undertake a few turns or perform simple tricks very quickly! You'll be accompanied by a qualified coach who'll be on hand to help you learn and improve.

What's the difference between the two activities?
The wakesurf board is different from the wakeboard board. It's similar to a small surfboard, with no foot support (unlike the wakeboard). You'll be able to glide along barefoot, right on the board, just like in surfing. But whether you choose one or the other, these water sports will give you an extraordinary sense of freedom!
At what age can I take part?
There's no age limit for these activities, starting at 6 years of age.
Where to practice?
Lac des Fades is a 385-hectare reservoir located between Pontaumur and Saint-Gervais-d'Auvergne. It is 40 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand. This lake in the Auvergne region offers you the chance to enjoy water sports as close to nature as possible.
