With little prior training, you can set off with our professional, state-certified guide on a snowy trail. The guide will be on hand to introduce you to snowshoe walking, then take you on magical itineraries he knows like the back of his hand!
In the snow-covered mountains of the Sancy, 30 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, we propose a friendly snowshoe hike lasting around 2.5 hours. All you need is your mountain boots and good protection against the cold. Your state-qualified guide will provide you with snowshoes and teach you the basics of walking on snow. At the end of the morning or afternoon snowshoe hike, we finish off with a snack.

Why snowshoes?
Snowshoes are the easiest way to get around on foot in fresh snow. They keep you from sinking. Attach them to waterproof hiking boots and walk without any discomfort. After 5 minutes with snowshoes on, you won't know the difference!
How athletic do I need to be?
Snowshoe walking requires the same effort as walking on foot. You'll certainly have to climb a few hills, but our guide adapts to everyone's level!

Depending on snow and weather conditions, we offer hikes in various locations around Clermont-Ferrand. Sancy, puy de Dôme, chaîne des puys, our guide will be spoilt for choice. You'll be accompanied by people who know the area like the back of their hand, so let them guide you! Daytime or evening, the choice is yours.
