When can I go hot-air ballooning?
Hot-air ballooning is possible all year round, weather permitting. Indeed, conditions must be perfect for a peaceful and unforgettable flight.
2 slots are available:
- In the morning at sunrise
- At the end of the day for sunset.
Where can I fly in a hot-air balloon?
We have two departure points:
- At the foot of the Puy de Dôme for flights over the Chaîne des Puys.
How many people can fit in the basket?
We have a basket that can accommodate up to 8 people in addition to our pilot. We need a minimum of 2 people in the balloon to take off.
What if you want to go it alone?
If there are only 2 of you, and you'd rather be left alone, you can privatize the flight at a special rate.
How long does a flight last?
Your flight will last about 1 hour, but the total service will last 3 hours.
What if I'm afraid of heights?
Hot-air ballooning is a very calm and peaceful activity, so you won't feel dizzy. Take-off is gentle, and there's no sense of emptiness. The distance from the ground is quickly forgotten, thanks to the magnificent landscape stretching out before you.
How far in advance should I book?
It's best to block a slot as soon as possible, if you want to be sure of being able to balloon at the right time.
