Admission :

The activities offered by Takamaka are open to all. However, specific age limits apply for certain activities. Similarly, being able to swim is essential for water activities.

 

Special conditions of registration for several people, the subscriber undertakes to make known and approve, to all registered participants :

- the general terms and conditions of sale

- the insurance conditions and any other document that may be provided.

 

Booking:

All bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of the order form, marked "approved". This must be accompanied by a deposit of 50% of the total price. This deposit must be received 10 days before the departure date. If the balance is not received 10 days before departure, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without compensation.

 

Vouchers: Vouchers cannot be refunded.

 

Cancellations :

Cancellations made by participants will be subject to the following charges:

- between 45 and 30 days before departure: 25% of the total cost

- between 29 and 21 days: 50%.

- between 20 and 10 days: 75%.

Less than 10 days or no-show at the place of departure or place of stay: 100% of the total cost of the trip or stay.

All cancellations must be confirmed in writing (registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, telegram, fax, etc.), with the date of receipt determining the date of cancellation.

 

Changes by the organiser :

We reserve the right to modify the programme of a holiday for safety reasons. The customer may not claim any compensation if, for reasons of force majeure, the holiday or services have to be cancelled or essential elements modified. The organiser will endeavour to offer the customer a replacement holiday or services and the customer will then have a period of 7 days to accept the replacement product or cancel the booking without incurring any charges.

 

NB: in the case of services that have already begun, alternative routes or activities will be proposed by the organisers.

 

Modification by the customer:

Any modification made by the customer on essential elements (change of programme, date, destination, number of participants...) will be considered as a cancellation and will incur the same charges.

Risks :

Given the specific nature of our programmes, each participant is aware that he or she may run certain risks, due in particular to the distance from medical centres. They assume these risks in full knowledge of the facts and must comply with the rules of caution and follow the advice given by professionals. TAKAMAKA does not have the means to check the level of sporting activity of its customers. In the case of a sporting activity with or without equipment, and especially in the case of sports equipment hire included in our programmes (excluding programmes supervised by an instructor), customers acknowledge that they have sufficient technical competence to practise this sporting activity and use the hired equipment alone. The same applies to all activities or hire of sports equipment not included in the programme and/or purchased directly at the holiday destination. In this case, the customer takes part in such activities under his/her own responsibility and at his/her own risk.

Insurance :

We have taken out a professional liability insurance policy with the MMA sports insurance company. Participants must have individual body insurance.


Disputes :
