Via ferrata Auvergne

Via Ferrata in the Auvergne? There's plenty to see and do!

This activity, halfway between climbing and hiking, will give you a magnificent view of the Sancy massif and the spa town of Mont-Dore, with guaranteed thrills.

What is via ferrata in Auvergne?

Via ferrata is an activity that involves climbing a mountain or rock face using equipment permanently installed on the rock (ladder rungs, ramps, monkey bridges, footbridges, etc.). Halfway between rock climbing and sport hiking, via ferrata enables as many people as possible to discover the vertical environment, in complete safety. Less demanding and technical than rock climbing, this activity is accessible and does not require a high level of physical fitness.

The Capucin via ferrata takes place in a wild setting, on a cliff with a magnificent view over the entire Haute Dordogne valley and the summit of the Puy de Sancy. Of very moderate difficulty, it's ideal for a family or group of friends discovering this activity.

We offer an outing supervised by a state-qualified guide for groups of 8 or more.
