Dog sledding experience around Clermont-Ferrand in Auvergne, France
This includes a presentation of the pack, a first contact with the dogs, an exchange with Rémi or Julia, our mushers, about their passion for dog sledding, as well as the discovery of the equipment necessary for the activity and the setting up of the sled.
After explanations and safety instructions, you'll set off on a baptism, comfortably installed in the sled, to discover the Guéry and Sancy landscapes.
If snow conditions do not allow sledding, the activity will be replaced by a dog kart ride.
This activity is by reservation only (minimum 2 people). The minimum age to take part in the activity is 3 years old accompanied by an adult or a child over 8 years old. The sled can accommodate 2 adults or 3 children at the same time, up to a maximum weight of 220 kg.

Thank you for choosing to share a moment of sliding with the dogs of the pack, and see you soon on the sleds!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where to go?
We have 2 different sites for dog sledding. You can practice in the Auvergne near Picherande, in the Sancy massif or near Lac de Guéry. The location may vary according to snow conditions, at the Musher's discretion.
What happens if there isn't enough snow?
If the snow cover is not sufficient for sledding, the activity will be replaced by a Dog Kart experience.
How many people per sled?
It all depends on the specifics of each musher, but it's mainly a question of weight: the sleds can't hold more than 220 kg. That's about 2 or 3 adults.
Who can take part?
You can take a sleigh ride from the age of 3, and you don't have to be a great sportsman to enjoy a lovely ride!
