Practice time: On average 10 to 20 minutes depending on weather conditions.

Age: from 5 years and up to 90 years (except against medical indication and pregnant women)

Accessibility: Minimum weight of 20kg and maximum of 100kg

Location: at the top of Puy de Dôme (facing the wind, where paragliders are gathered)

You can climb to the summit by the Chemin des Muletiers, which is at the level of the Col de Ceyssat (63210), in 50 min walk or with the train "Le Panoramique des Dômes" (Chemin du Couleyras, Lieu-dit La Font de l'Arbre, 63870 Orcines GPS coordinates: N45°46’ 7’–E02° 9’ 2’’).

There are train climbs:

Every hour from January 1 to March 22. and from November 7 to December 31.
Every 40 min from 28 March to 30 June and from 1 September to 1 November.
Every 20 min from July 1 to August 31.

We advise you to take a train that will leave 60 minutes before the appointment time during the train periods at 40 and 20 minutes.

Time: arrival must be 15 minutes before the scheduled time

To fly, the summit must be clear and the wind "at the top" must not be too strong. If weather conditions do not permit the flight, it will be cancelled by your instructor the day before or in the morning or as soon as conditions change.

It may be postponed according to the availability of each. If you come from far away, do not hesitate to call the day before to get a forecast weather point.



The activity includes:

• The equipment necessary for the practice (CEN approved sail, harness and parachute, helmet)
• Supervision by our qualified instructors.

• Clothing adapted to the weather

 The activity does not include:

• Transport to the place of practice
