Description

The télécabine ride up, the summit, the cold nipping at your cheeks and three kilometres of slope opening up ahead: that is the setting for the winter incentive near Clermont-Ferrand that Takamaka delivers. Classic luge, snake glisse or yooner depending on snow conditions and the group's preferences, each ride option brings its own sensations and its guaranteed share of laughter. Day or night on the slopes of Auvergne's mountain resorts, the experience is genuinely accessible to everyone while still being thoroughly exhilarating.

The yooner, a kind of kneeling saucer steered with two small poles, is the star of the activity: inherently unstable, it levels the playing field between ski champions and complete beginners and produces hilarious descents. The snake glisse links several luges together in a single-file chain for a collective descent where one person's mistake ripples through the whole group. The classic luge, meanwhile, remains the reliable option for those who simply want to glide down with speed and efficiency.

Three kilometres of gliding through snow-covered volcanic landscapes, up to 50 participants and a mulled wine waiting at the bottom: this is the winter incentive that brings every profile together and turns the Auvergne volcanoes into an exceptional playground for two to three hours of pure sensation.

How the activity works

1

Meeting at the télécabine base and equipment selection

On arrival at the resort, the Takamaka Clermont team welcomes the group and presents the available rides based on the day's conditions: classic luge, snake glisse or yooner. Safety guidelines are delivered and everyone chooses or is assigned their ride before boarding the télécabine to the summit.
2

The télécabine ascent

The group rides up to the summit, 360-degree volcanic panorama included. Arriving at the top with the slopes opening ahead and the sharp altitude cold creates a collective adrenaline rush well before the first descent.
3

The descents

Three kilometres of sliding on the resort's slopes begins. Yooners produce acrobatic and hilarious descents, snake glisses test the cohesion of the single-file chain, and classic luges allow the most seriously timed runs. Day or night, the group can chain as many descents as the session allows, in an atmosphere of guaranteed collective good humour.
4

Arrival and mulled wine

The session closes at the bottom of the slope over a shared mulled wine. It is the moment to compare performances, relive the best wipeouts and extend the conviviality of a winter experience that no one is at risk of forgetting.

Why choose Takamaka ?

Luge, snake glisse, yooner: Takamaka Clermont offers all three and adapts the selection to the day's snow conditions and the group's preferences. With 7 years of experience in Auvergne and an intimate knowledge of the Sancy massif resorts, the team knows exactly how to run a sliding session that delivers on its promises of sensation and laughter, day or night, for groups of up to 50.

The activity is fully managed end-to-end: télécabine ascent organisation, ride selection based on conditions, slope supervision and mulled wine at the bottom. All you need to do is slide and enjoy the involuntary spectacle your colleagues provide on the yooner. The collective and levelling nature of the activity makes it one of the most team-building winter moments in the Takamaka Clermont catalogue.

The three kilometres of descent through snow-covered Auvergne volcanic landscapes combine naturally with other winter activities to build a complete seminar day or weekend at the Sancy. It is the winter incentive that leaves no one unmoved and generates lasting collective memories.
