The Performance Canyon is a full-day formula on more technical and engaging sites (Borne or Argence), designed for sporty participants who want to go beyond initiation. The Discovery Canyon is accessible to everyone on their first try.
Is the performance canyoning near Clermont-Ferrand suitable for beginners?
This formula is recommended for people with a good fitness level and ideally some prior canyoning experience. It is not suited for complete beginners — for a first experience, we recommend our Discovery Canyon.
What equipment do I need?
Bring a swimsuit, a towel, a change of clothes and two pairs of shoes (one dry + one for the canyon, no smooth soles). Neoprene wetsuit, helmet and harness are provided by Takamaka.
